The Kraken

A Kairegornan submersible chances upon a young Kraken that has been feeding on a Megalodon. The squid, uninterested in the submersible and annoyed by its lights, leaves and heads into the darker parts of the abyss. This juvenile is barely more than 300 feet. Adults can grow as long as 3,040 feet (as long as ten frigates) and are powerful enough to sink whole fleets of ships. Kraken are well known for attacks on ships, especially during their spawning nights on the summer and winter solstices, when Kraken view the ships as enemies or as prey.
