Thorinen: Prince of Dragons

There is little doubt why Thorinen is a prince of dragons and the steed and partner to Kaine Dragonheart. Strong, noble, proud and full of honor, he is a symbol of hope and power across Kairegorn. Green and black like a gem striking the light in a darkened room, he is glorious to gaze upon with mortal eyes. As the brother of King Eonan, it falls upon him to make judgements that help to govern dragon-kind as a whole as well as being one of Lady Luminos' highest ranking warriors. He is wise centuries beyond his years and it is his destiny and his rider's to deliver freedom to Kairegorn from the assault of Deltthion and Sauros in the Millennium War.


A color concept of Thorinen. I used three different greens to make the image feel right. Thorinen's black patterning is mainly along the edges of his heavier scales and the small scales on his legs (the smaller scales look blacker because of their size.) All in all, i am very happy that his color has been finalized. It took over a year to make it look right.
