Appalachian Razorcrest

The mightiest of all dragons, the Appalachian Razorcrest is the largest flying predator that ever existed. Extremely dangerous and having only ever been tamed once in recorded history, it is a hunter of other dragons, including seadrakes such as the kraken. Its armor is near impenetrable, and the only dragon known to be able to kill it is the Nigerian Nightfury, a dragon who gives its name to an entire family of dragons sharing its characteristics.

A dragon i created in my junior year of high school. during this time, my artwork was going through a transitional phase and from this creature and others like it, i learned how to make proper proportions for my current dragons. i eventually intend to give this creature a makeover, and give it new life here.
